Beefsteak tomatoes are the king of all tomatoes. They grow very big. One slice can cover the whole sandwich! They also have a good taste.

Long Keepers. They are usually small. Have yellow or orange color. This variety can be kept in a cool and dark place for many months. Sometimes they can be stored for up to 7-8 months.

Growing tomato seedlings. Cultivation.

Tomato seedlings are usually started indoors. Planting tomato seeds is one of the first gardening projects of the year. Start planting tomato seeds in small containers, eight to eleven weeks before the last frost. Sow tomato seeds about 1/8" inch deep. Use seed starting soil for that purpose.
